Nought to Fixty is the first of two Fix Auto UK cars entering this year’s REAL Rally. With a genuine 19,000 miles on the clock, this flawless Citroen Saxo 1.1 Desire is sure to be the lowest mileage car (and probably smallest) entering this year’s event, having had one careful lady owner since it was born in 2001!
That lady is Tom’s 86-year old Auntie Dorothy, who has agreed to hang up her driving gloves for good in order to help support The REAL Rally. Despite its farthest ever round trip being just 50 miles long, we are sure that the lure of returning to its spiritual home will quell any range anxiety. Plus, it only weighs 805kg if it needs a push!
And for those of you who are interested, the car’s ‘nought to fixty’ is a shade under 13 seconds. ‘Unlucky’ for some of you!
