On Wednesday 27th June 2018, the REAL Rally will be heading off from Worcester for a three-day tour of the beautiful North Wales countryside, taking an overnight stop at four-star hotels in Portmeirion, the unique Italian-themed village where cult sixties series The Prisoner was filmed, and a second night in the classic, contemporary city of Chester. An initiative of the Essex-based children’s charity, REAL - the Ethan Rees Linwood Memorial Fund, all monies raised will go towards REALfriends, supporting local bullied children, and REALexperience - creating apprentice opportunities for 14-16 year olds in the vehicle repair industry in conjunction with AutoRaise.
While the cars (and many of the entrants!) will likely have seen better days, we expect spirits to be high as drivers test their trusty steeds over the Rally route. Please note this is not a race, just a fun event giving lots of satisfaction - testing your buying and preparation skills, enjoying a thoroughly Welsh road trip and helping support a fantastic charitable cause. The event will be very high profile and a perfect PR opportunity for contributors.
